
Shawarma Nachos with Harissa
Nacho plate with shawarma beef, pomegranate, hummus and harissa. A Mexican special with Eastern Mediterranean flavours.

How to prepare
Heat oil in a large pan. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Stir in the Shawarma Seasoning and cook for another 2–3 minutes until fully incorporated. Add 100 ml water and let simmer.
Preheat the oven to 200°C, and spread the Nacho Chips evenly on a large ovenproof platter or plate, top with the seasoned beef over the chips.
Mix Harissa Sauce with Cheese Sauce and pour over the nacho chips and bake for 4–6 minutes, until the chips are warm.
Remove the nachos from the oven, add crumbled feta cheese, red onion, cucumber, pomegranate seeds and hummus.
Garnish with fresh coriander/parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
