Tex Mex Stroganoff
A rich and colourful stew with sausage and colourful, seasoned with the beloved taco flavour.
Ingredients
Number of portions
Tex Mex Stroganoff:
500 g sausage, sliced
200 g sweet corn, rinsed
200 g carrot, cubed
150 g onion, wedges
2 tbsp oil
600 ml water
10 g corn starch
20 g Santa Maria Taco Spice Mix
200 ml Santa Maria Taco Sauce, mild
Bean salad:
500 g mixed white beans, rinsed
20 g olive oil
15 g white vinegar
25 g Santa Maria Italian Salad Spice Mix
For serving:
Rice
Nacho chips and extra Taco Sauce
How to prepare
Sauté the sausage, onion and carrots in oil in a large pan.
Mix water with starch, Taco Sauce and Taco Spice Mix, then pour it in the pan.
Stir well and bring the stew to a boil, let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Mix white beans with oil, vinegar and Italian Salad Spice Mix to a side salad.
Serve with boiled rice, Nacho Chips and Taco Sauce.
